Studio Rendezvous
In collaboration with Shekou Art Project, Hui International launches an open call and invites artists to apply for the residency program at the artistic building of Hui International in Shenzhen Shekou district.
Shenzhen has been one of the most energetic cities in the mainland for contemporary art since long time. With new museums and galleries gradually forming a mature landscape of contemporary art scene in the south, Shenzhen has become the social hub for artists, projects and the trading for art and design. Studio Rendezvous is excited to initiate the residency program on top of that, to diversify the art scene and more importantly to introduce artists from overseas to Shenzhen this special city of Greater Bay Area.
The Artist-in-Residency program
StudioRendezvous spreads its open arms to artists from all over the world to be inspired by the sublime sea views and the luminous city landscapes of Shenzhen. Guests are invited to be immersed in local vibrant and engaging art and tech scene and to enjoy the comfortable climate in the south of China. We are also associated with the art fair and local art institutes to encourage more possible collaborations.
